Conrad's taste in music was wide and varied. He was old school rock 'n roll & heavy metal. He liked big band, swing, punk, soft, jazz and blues. He played clarinet in middle school and was in choir in high school. He was self taught on guitar and had been playing well for the last couple of years. His major in college was music with a goal to have a band and be a music teacher. He didn't like rap and would be the first to tell you that 'rap, by definition , was not music'. He also couldn't stand that 'whiney, cry in yer beer, oh woe is me' country music. We're proud to say that Conrad followed closely in the footsteps of his parents when it came to music. |

For Conrad's Mass and viewing we put together a 17 track CD of music from some of Conrad's favorite artists. It's become known as Conrad's CD. Below are the track listings and lyrics. Conrad would've loved that we had Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Queensr˙che, Uriah Heep, Greenday, Randy Rhodes, Lita Ford and even The Beatles, playing for him inside Saint Francis of Assisi Church. I know we made some converts that day, Conrad. |
